Bwa Ha Ha Ha....
For a few weeks, I have been driving around with a dead radio with the alarm ready light blinking on it. After checking the radio fuse, I figure it must be a electrical problem under the dashboard.
I didn't want to take it in for electrical problem repair and pay a lot of money.
I look for a car repair manual at Krangen store. They didn't have any there.
I had forgotten the mighty power of the internet and Google search.
This morning, it occurs to me to go ahead and try putting this in Google - Honda Oddyssey Radio. Just to see how much those cost.
Found a
website for people to post problems and solutions about the Honda Oddysey. I found the problem and solution. It was indeed the fuse but not the radio fuse. It was the ACC fuse. $%^&*! So I replaced the fuse and volia!! The radio is alive!!!
That will teach me to respect the power of Google search.
Apparently, the quirk is this. If the car was jumpstarted for whatever reason, it could kill the ACC fuse.
